Sherrod Sports Visas

It’s hard to fight the dragon and work with the dragon at the same time.

Why your petition is now with the Sekou Clarke Law Group — from Sherrod Seward

If you came to us through Sherrod Sports Visas, your petition is now being handled by the Sekou Clarke Law Group. Nothing has gone wrong. This is a decision we made on purpose, and the three-minute video below is Sherrod explaining it himself.

The short version

  1. We are suing the agency that decides these cases.

Sherrod is moving hands-on into federal litigation through DC Federal Litigation — overturning visa denials made for bad reasons, and pushing the government to be transparent about what immigrants are entitled to know.

  2. You cannot do both at once.

Fighting an agency and filing petitions with it are opposite postures. Keeping them under one roof serves nobody — least of all the person whose petition is sitting on a desk there.

  3. So your petition goes somewhere it is judged on its own merits.

Clear of that fight. The Sekou Clarke Law Group handles P-1, O-1, EB-1A and EB-5 matters, as well as family-based immigration.

  4. Sekou Clarke is not a stranger to this work, or to us.

He and Sherrod have worked alongside each other for almost seven years at the front of sports-related immigration. Born in St. Andrew, Jamaica, he won a full athletic scholarship to the University of Florida, captained the team, and was a ten-time All-American who helped the Gators to two national titles in track and field. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2016 and founded the firm that now practices across Orlando, Florida, Panama City Beach, Florida, Brooklyn, New York and Kingston, Jamaica.
